The virtual Vault card is offered after you have been approved for a Vault account and receive a payout for an Op. It gives you immediate access to your funds without the need for a physical card. You can use these funds online or through Apple Pay or Google Pay.
Can I have both a physical and virtual card at the same time?
Yes, you are able to have both a physical card and a virtual card at the same time. This will allow you to have access to your funds in the event that you lose your physical card or have to close it for any reason. Keep in mind, though linked to the same account, your physical card will have different card information than your virtual card.
What can I do with my card from within the app?
Using your Veryable app, you are able to perform multiple helpful actions that keep the power to control your funds with YOU! You are able to freeze/unfreeze your card, set a new PIN or change an existing PIN, report your card as lost (permanent action), report your card as stolen (permanent action), as well as close your card (permanent action). This is all done through a secure process that requires phone number verification.
Can I use my virtual card at retail locations, restaurants, venues, etc?
Once your card is added to your virtual wallet, you are able to use your virtual card anywhere Apple Pay and Google Pay are accepted.
How do I freeze my card?
From the Cards screen (second icon on the Vault section of the app), find the card you want to freeze. At the top right, you should see a vertical ellipses (three dots). Tap these three dots and select Freeze Card. You should see your card’s status change to “Frozen” on the Cards screen. Later you can come back and follow the same steps, but instead you will see the option to Unfreeze your card.
*Please note: Veryable covers the cost for your first 2 virtual cards and then each virtual card after is 10 cents.*
