Is this a credit card or a debit card?

Branch supports only Mastercard and Visa debit cards, not credit cards. These cards are usable and accepted everywhere! 

Keep in mind that you can also select the “Link debit card option” in the Veryable app to be paid directly to your own personal bank account and debit card, if you prefer.
